We’ve made it to the crafty side of the studio! This will primarily be an image dump of selected projects I’ve been working on in the past few months to a year. In past years, I have been much more into drawing, doodling, design, and knitting, but they have taken a little bit of a backseat while I learn to focus on code projects instead. I still do on occasion to get a break from the computer and brought in some skills to practice in the past year.
I had taken numerous art classes in middle school, high school, and a fine arts minor and missed having those kinds of projects in my life, and wanted to challenge myself to try painting again. It’s not exactly my favorite, but some times it works out! Last fall, I went to my first paint and sip, enjoyed it quite a bit, and built up my own supplies to begin painting at home some more. My go to’s lately for live streams and YouTube tutorials (some featured below) are Jesse Robertson/Keep It Colorful and Angela Anderson. I have given two of these as gifts and probably plant to do more, maybe commissions in the future?? Who knows; for now I’m working on practicing and updating apartment décor 😀
